IMPORTANT!! For your safety, please only go with licensed speedboat operators and make sure that life jackets are accessible. We will not support speedboats that overcrowd and are not safe. Use them at your own discretion.
*Note: The Phi Phi pier has a reputation of being somewhat chaotic and confusing. There is a 20 baht 'entrance fee when disembarking at Phi Phi Island. This is not included in the boat ticket price. Please be aware of this fee before departure. This is to be used for the maintenance and cleanliness of the pier and island, please, please, please, remind them of this when paying.
If you see rubbish at the pier when you arrive, you may refuse to pay the fee until they at least clean around themselves.
You will then be bombarded by rows of touts all trying for your attention. The locals are very friendly under normal circumstances and are just trying to do their jobs. Look for the signs for your preferred accommodation,
or walk to us at Coral Tour at the end of the pier.
